Engineering Assistant
Location - Hertfordshire
Salary - £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (negotiable)

My client is a leading manufacturer of electrical power equipment providing power quality and energy saving solutions for a range of clients. The company’s position has been built on selling a high quality product and offering a service which exceeds customer expectations. Through attention to detail they overcome design, build and installation issues before they arise.

Due to the growth in UK market for energy saving products my client is looking for an Engineering Assistant to assist the Technical Director.

Job Specification:
- Initial requirement of role will be to quickly take on board a deep Technical understanding of Company products, systems and documentation
- Need ability to lend on technical experience to deal confidently with enquiries with internal and external customers.
- The successful candidate will bring to the role experience in product design and development essential for products to remain competitive.

Ideal candidate will have:
- Understanding of electrical and electronic components
- Good command of technical writing and document layout
- Posses a good technical background in electrical engineering, ideally from a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of product design and development
