Technical Sales Engineer – Home based

My client is a leading manufacturer of electrical power equipment providing power quality and energy saving solutions for a range of clients. The company’s position has been built on selling a high quality product and offering a service which exceeds customer expectations. Through attention to detail they overcome deign, build and installation issues before they arise.

Due to the growth in UK market for energy saving products my client is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to sell these cost effective products to both existing and new commercial clients.

The role is predominantly home based but for the first 6 months attendance in the Hertfordshire office will be required for 3 days a week. Therefore you will need to be in commuting distance of their office in Hertfordshire.

Ideal candidate will have:
- Good understanding of electrical engineering products or components
- HNC / HND or equivalent in heavy current electrical engineering is preferred
- Good communicator
- Be able to build rapport with existing clients and have ability to sell product to new clients.
- Driving license is essential as you will also be client facing

Excellent salary offered with possibility of car / mobile / laptop and commission will be offered in package to the right candidate.
