Senior Naval Architect wanted on a permanent basis to work in either London, Aberdeen or Newcastle!!

My client provides global capability in complex Marine Operations and offshore engineering. They have offices based in Aberdeen, Newcastle and London and have established a recognised expertise in Marine, DP and Engineering consultancy.

The role will involve naval architecural analyses and project management as part of the companies growing and varied workload.

Experience in the following would be an advantage:
- Riser and Mooring analysis
- Vessel motion studies
- Multi-body Dynamic analyses

The ideal candidate will have:
- 10 years relevant engineering background and a proven track record in a similar field
- Preferably degree in Naval Architecture and with chartered status would be beneficial but not essential
- Good understanding of first principle hydrodynamics with knowledge of industry software packages such as Orcaflex, Freecom/Flexcom would be beneficial

The role is mainly office based but some offshore / overseas travel will be required.
